Molly Studio had the exciting opportunity to design the plans for the future Whisky Lounge Bar at the Alila Villas Uluwatu hotel: Batique Whiskey & Cigar. Our challenge was to transform an unused former restaurant space into a cozy, intimist bar. With nearly all-glass walls, the matter was to create a warm, intimate atmosphere that captures the essence of traditional whisky bars.

To achieve this, We first work by developing a Moodboard to define the guidelines as well as the specifications to be respected. We focused on a few key elements:
Refinement: We selected dark wood and rich leather to convey warmth and elegance.
Color Palette: Deep, enveloping tones and amber accents were chosen to create a cozy yet sophisticated setting.
Layout: Thoughtfully arranging the bar, tables, and seating areas was essential for comfort and engagement.

One of the standout features of this impressive Batique Whiskey & Cigar is the stunning antique stamps covering the upper section of the space. This detail adds a spectacular, unique character that sets the bar apart, making it a memorable spot for guests.

By blending classic elements with a modern touch, we’re crafting not just a bar but an experience—a place where guests can unwind and appreciate the finer things in life. This whisky lounge promises to be a destination that captivates the senses and fosters great conversations.
